At Cook County Saloon, we're proud to have been a part of the Alberta country music scene for the past 42 years. We've always believed in supporting local and national artists, providing a venue for them to showcase their talent and connect with their fans.

Many years ago, four young men had a shared musical vision which centered around strong harmonies such as The Eagles, Alabama, Restless Heart and Diamond Rio. In the summer of 1992, KC Jones was born. From there, they became a notable act in the A-circuit and the country music festival scene across Canada for the next 9 years spreading their take on good two-steppin’ country and sweet harmonies. During that time, they had a number of original songs on the Canadian country music charts, including videos on CMT. Their high point was in 1997 when they received multiple CCMA citation nominations which included independent vocal group of the year and independent song of the year for “The Only Way is the Highway”.

With a long hiatus and a recent demand for danceable country music, original members, Ryan Pugh, Tony Noel, and Rick Schuhmacher are back to re-ignite the 90’s and deliver the goods to a new generation! CCMA recording artist, prolific song writer and newest member, Karac Hendriks raises the bar even further as a talented vocalist and musician. That said, KC Jones is back and ready to fill dancefloors with their energy, mesmerizing harmonies and country music you can two-step to, or break out your favorite rock anthem!
