Mark Lorenz, a Canadian Country Recording artist with a 25-year career, grew up on an Alberta farm immersed in the country lifestyle. At 17, he discovered a recording studio and won a local singing contest, igniting his passion for music. Mark formed his first band at 19 and played in various venues across Canada and the US, including the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. He released his debut single, "Reputation," in 1999, followed by a six-song EP and a hometown music video. Mark honed his songwriting skills while touring extensively and collaborating with renowned Nashville writers. In 2006, Mark released his first full-length album, "Black," featuring his own compositions, which produced successful singles on the Canadian Top 100 chart. He continued to perform at prestigious venues in Canada and Nashville, becoming a regular performer at Tootsies. His second album, "Route 72," gained airplay in Canada and the US with the lead single, "You Wreck Me." Mark released more singles and music videos, including "Like a Radio" and "Somewhere in Alberta." Recently, he released his new project, "This Old Guitar & Me," showcasing his latest collection of self-written or co-written songs. With numerous radio releases, music videos, and collaborations, Mark's momentum continues to grow. He has performed for audiences ranging from small venues to crowds of up to 50,000 people. Mark's passion for performing and drive to succeed propel him to pursue even greater endeavors each day. He eagerly anticipates future opportunities and hopes to see his fans at upcoming shows.
